Summer kicks off with elite competition and campus-wide activations
Atlanta, GA (May 21st, 2025) — LakePoint Sports, the premier travel and youth sports destination in the country, is gearing up for its fourth Champions Weekend of the 2025 season, the Memorial Day Elite Weekend, taking place May 24–25, 2025. This can’t-miss weekend will feature elite-level competition, fan-favorite activations, and a celebratory kickoff to Summer across all five premium venues.
For the first time ever, Terminus Wake Park is cranking up the Summer vibes as it takes center stage for the Champions Weekend featured activation on Saturday, May 24th. Guests from across campus and the surrounding communities will be treated to a high-energy beach bash that’s all about fun, flavor, and festive feels
The action kicks off when the park opens at 10 a.m., but the party heats up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will enjoy the sounds of a live DJ spinning summer hits while soaking up the sun, and snagging some awesome giveaways from Monument Grills and Publix. The first 500 guests will score a FREE Nathan’s Famous hot dog, grilled to perfection on-site with Monument Grills and served on soft, delicious Nature’s Own buns.
Across the campus, major events will draw top athletes and families to Emerson. The Baseball Village will host the State Games of Georgia, with a full slate of activations to match the on-field action. The Windscreen Factory returns with their full batting cage display, while Shot Collar showcases their bat weight system at the village entrance. SHRUNK 3D will capture unforgettable moments with hyper-realistic 3D replicas at the Crossroads, and a new kiosk activation from JAW Bats and BallPlayers Balm will make its debut.
Returning favorites such as Amaryllis + Main, Bownet, Museum City, Triton, Louisville Slugger, EvoShield, Baseballism, Old Hickory Bats, and Rawlings will all be on-site. Monument Grills will also be activating in the Baseball Village, and the Curve Test Center Bubble will run its “Ball, Body, and Brain” player evaluation experience, offering data-driven insights beyond traditional metrics. Yanmar will be on display from their onsite tractor setup at the Baseball entrance, rounding out a packed lineup of interactive experiences.
Guests will also find exclusive partner coupons throughout the campus to enhance their visit.
In the Champions Center, the Adidas Memorial Day Classic will bring high-level basketball competition to the court, and the Clubhouse Store will be open throughout the weekend with official merchandise and exclusive offerings. Meanwhile, the Publix Fields will host the C1N 7v7 Football Classic, adding elite football action to the holiday weekend.
